Is it too early to get excited about the Players Show? Judging by how the UK’s ‘summer’ has been this year we’re expecting over 30 degrees come September, and with SO many awesome cars and traders already confirmed it’s going to be a day to remember that’s for sure. Continue reading
We’ve ALL got a dream garage… right? Say you numbers come up on the Euromillions, what exactly would you go and buy first? Well for us, we’d give Ferrari and Lamborghini a miss (initially) and head straight to Stuttgart for something very very special… Continue reading
What makes a good car show? Attendance figures? A high-standard of cars? Or simply just a great bunch of people? Here at Players we believe it’s a combination of all these elements and more, so after a morning’s brainstorming alongside Scene-Media PR the Meguiar’s Premium BBQ was born.
We first held this event in 2011 and the concept was as simple as the name suggests – get some stunning cars together, host a BBQ and spend the day relaxing and chatting to friends without the hustle and bustle of a traditional car show. We won’t give too much away, but this is easily one of the most immaculate Audis in the country right now from the perfect paintwork right upto a leather re-trimmed interior that’ll make you green with envy. We look forward to welcoming Rob to Players 7.0! Continue reading
Now in its 7th year Players Show is held at North Weald Airfield, Essex. Taking place on in September this year’s Premium Automotive Event will be bigger and better than ever.
Players is the brainchild of Jamie ‘Jaymac’ McToldridge and Carl Taylor who have both been in the Car Culture scene for more years than either would care to admit. Jaymac wanted to deliver a quality event with a relaxed European vibe. In a short (and rare) interview Jay said, “I wanted to deliver a quality event with a relaxed European vibe.” Carl was looking to serve-up a show that offered cool prizes, a super-friendly ‘all cars welcome’ ethos and killer value. At the time of writing this box of words Carlos was unavailable for interview.
